Activity log

Once a day, billing data from other modules is transferred to Autotask via the KaseyaOne API. This service is fully automated and usually runs after midnight. The submitted billing metrics update tables that keep track of how many units of measure (users, devices, IP addresses...) each end client used for each module.

On the Integrated Customer Billing - Activity Log page, you will see a digest of this data transfer. Each row of data indicates whether the number of units for each billing type and module increased, decreased, or stayed the same. Filters for all columns allow you to locate specific transactions.

NOTE  If the sync for a module failed, there will be no data in the activity log for that module for that day's sync, as there was no data to process. Refer to Enabling integrated customer billing by module.

Button row

The main reason to access the Activity Log page is to address failed transactions that occur when organizations or billing types are not mapped, or to review transmission errors. Selecting the Only Show Failed Transactions check box will filter failed transactions and errors. The check box will remain selected from one session to the next.

Log table

A filter row at the top of the log table allows you to filter the data by any combination of columns.
